IQ tests backed for university admissions
Professor Steven Schwartz, head of the government's taskforce on university admissions, is to recommend to ministers that universities should use IQ tests along with A Level results to determine which candidates are offered places.
It is thought the move could help to increase the number of higher education students from working class backgrounds.
