Iain Duncan Smith's new novel, The Devil's Tune, is reviewed in today's Guardian by Ann Widdecombe.

Widdecombe, who a published fiction author herself, says: "The dialogue is severely cliche-ridden but people do have a habit of talking in cliches, which is why such sayings become cliches."

She adds: "Those who read it in the hope of gleaning some inside knowledge of IDS's period of leadership of Her Majesty's Opposition will be disappointed."
