Tony Blair wants to show off his Sedgefield constituency to President Bush during this month's state visit, it is reported.

His invitation is in return for his own stay at Bush's ranch outside the hamlet of Crawford in Texas last year.

The final say rests with Bush's Secret Service detail, which has yet to give final approval.
