An inquiry has been launched into claims that a magazine was used to promote Blairites in one of Labour's biggest affiliated organisations.

Derek Simpson, co-leader of the Amicus union, announced an inquiry after rival candidates claimed Labour loyalists were repeatedly plugged ahead of elections which begin this week.
