BBC in Holyrood dispute
The BBC has refused to hand over unseen documentary footage to an official inquiry into the soaring costs of the new Scottish parliament building.
Lord Fraser, the former lord advocate who will lead the inquiry beginning tomorrow, has asked to see the material, due to be shown in documentaries next year, but has been turned down.
Fergus Ewing, of the Scottish National Party, said the BBC's position was "breathtakingly arrogant", while David McLetchie, the Scottish Tory leader, said the BBC's position was "ludicrous".
