The IRA has warned there will be no end to the stalemate in Northern Ireland until unionists back a return to power sharing.

In a statement issued yesterday, the IRA said it had honoured its word with the decommissioning of weapons.

"Others have not fulfilled theirs. This is totally unacceptable," it said.
