Gay bishop dispute splits church
Leaders of the Anglican church have criticised the appointment of a gay bishop in the United States.
After a two-day emergency meeting at Lambeth Palace, the 37 primates announced that a commission would be set up to examine the deep divisions over homosexuality.
Whilst it will report back in a year many now expect some elements of the church to break away.
