Tax cuts won't boost Scottish economy says expert
A leading economist yesterday claimed Scotland's economy could not sustain heavy tax cuts to boost regeneration.
Comments by Professor Paul Krugman of Princetown University gave the thumbs down to calls for Scotland to be given greater autonomy.
Stimulating growth was "not a fiscal story" he claimed.
