Hoon and Campbell return to face Hutton

Geoff Hoon and Alastair Campbell are facing a second round of tough questioning at the Hutton inquiry today.

Meanwhile, a MORI poll for today's FT provides bleak reading for Geoff Hoon. The poll finds that one in three adults thinks the defence secretary should resign, while the Mirror says that Stephen Byers is being lined up as his replacement.

Today's Guardian reports that BBC reporter Andrew Gilligan is likely to lose his Today programme position as part of a wide-ranging shake-up of the corporation intended to defuse any criticism in the forthcoming Hutton report.

Greg Dyke, the director general, is said to want a "culture change" in the BBC, leading to a greater readiness to admit mistakes.
