Ken's influence exposed
Ken Livingstone has been chosen as the most influential figure in Britain's public services, according to a survey carried out by Society Guardian.
London's mayor took first place after he faced down government opposition to his policies for transport, planning, and housing.
Sir Ian Kennedy, chairman of the Bristol children's heart surgery inquiry, who is to become chairman of the new NHS inspectorate, and Paul Dacre, editor of the Mail, came in second and third.
