Duncan Smith calls for end of 'total politics'
Tory leader Iain Duncan Smith has vowed to scrap Labour's "command state".
"There is a disease at the heart of Tony Blair's government. That disease is total politics," Duncan Smith said.
He added that the Conservative Party was in its strongest position for a decade.
The Tory leader will spend the next 48 hours with members of his senior team, two years after securing the leadership.
But the Independent reports that a poor showing in next week's Brent East by-election could resurrect the Tory leadership question.
