British Airways has suspended all flights to Saudi Arabia after warnings from the Saudi security services of a "serious threat" to UK aircraft.

A Department for Transport spokesman said yesterday: "There is credible intelligence of a serious threat to UK aviation interests in Saudi Arabia."
