UK ranked tenth in terror threat league table
A firm of risk specialists has ranked Britain 10th in a league table of countries vulnerable to terrorist attack.
The World Markets Research Centre, which compiled the table, says Britain is a target because of its support for the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq as well as the number of high profile locations in London.
Guy Dunn, director of the WMRC, said the key mitigating factor in Britain's favour was that its security services are "the most sophisticated in the world" despite being hampered by the UK's open society.
