MPs are calling on the Office of Fair Trading to investigate suspect selling techniques on stores' cards.

Such cards received strong criticism in last week's Treasury select committee inquiry into credit cards.

John McFall, the chairman of the committee said: "It interests us that they [providers of store card credit] all charge the same high rates and there is a feeling that up until now the OFT has not intervened as much as it should."
