Charles warns Clarke on trendy teaching
The Prince of Wales has warned education secretary Charles Clarke against experimenting with trendy teaching techniques.
He told an audience including the minister that there was a need to pay attention to the "timeless principles" of sound teaching.
Prince Charles counselled against taking a "genetically modified" approach in the classroom.
