Peers set for Section 28 debate

The House of Lords will today discuss controversial legislation which outlaws the promotion of homosexuality in schools.

The Section 28 debate comes as the government's Local Government Bill heads into report stage in the House of Lords.

Conservative Baroness Blatch will be among those speaking out against plans to scrap the clause and has written to other members of the upper chamber asking for their support.
