Renewed focus on domestic agenda
The prime minister has signalled he intends to "concentrate" on issues such as the economy and public services.
Hailing "solid progress" Tony Blair signalled his intention to focus on domestic issues over the coming months.
In a presentation to journalists, the head of the Number 10 delivery unit Michael Barber said the government wanted to see "irreversible" change in public services.
The renewed emphasis on the domestic agenda has led to fresh speculation that Blair has already begun his third term election campaign.
