Conservative leader Iain Duncan Smith has hired the media centre in Millbank Tower - formerly the epicentre of New Labour spin - for his end of term speech.

The event, which will be attended by party workers and candidates, will hear Tony Blair compared to Arthur Daley because of his inability to deliver on his promises.

Duncan Smith recently became the government's latest crime statistic, the Express and Sun report, when his car was broken into during a trip to the cinema.
