Downing Street serenaded by musicians' petition
The prime minister was given a petition yesterday, signed by over 100,000 musicians and live music fans concerned about pubs and venues being barred from holding gigs under provisions in the Licensing Bill.
Conservative culture spokesman John Whittingdale joined MP Malcolm Moss and the Musicians Union in handing over the petition in Downing Street.
