Greg Dyke is to meet with senior Conservatives next week to discuss complaints that the BBC is deliberately biased against the Tories.

A BBC spokesman predicted there would be a "healthy, constructive exchange of views".

"We have an open-door policy when it comes to the country's major political parties, as it's always useful to hear what they have to say," he added.
