Euro weighs heavily on parliament
Today's FT reports that staff in the parliamentary vote office - where MPs collect order papers, government reports and Budget statements - are concerned about the weight of the Treasury's documentation on whether Britain should join the euro.
They expect the assessment and accompanying 18 studies to be so vast that copies will have to be housed in outbuildings.
