New press chief wants reform
Sir Christopher Meyer, the new chairman of the Press Complaints Commission, has set out an eight-point plan to deal with the "jagged edges and imperfections" of newspaper self-regulation.
He said editors should agree a common method of publishing the commission's adjudications and all publications should carry details of how readers can contact the commission.
