Lords reform delayed
The former Labour Cabinet minister, Jack Cunningham, will this morning produce the first report on House of Lords reform since MPs voted to reject all current options on offer.
While several of his colleagues on the joint committee will publish their own minority statement on reform, Cunningham's report is expected to call for more time to examine key issues, including the size of the upper house, how long peers should stay there and, most importantly, who picks them.
