Iraq's information minister has become the only figure of the Iraqi regime to enhance his reputation during the conflict, the papers say.

Mohammed Saeed al Sahaf - dubbed "Comical Ali" - is featured in the Mirror because "he brought an unlikely smile to us all with his unique ability to take on breaking news".

The Guardian features a spoof article by "the man who won't let the facts get in the way of a good column".

"Crows shall feed on Gordon Brown's pancreas," he predicts.
