Watchdog clears ministers in vaccine row
Parliament's spending watchdog has said that the government did not award a £32.5 million contract for smallpox vaccine in return for donations to the Labour Party.
The National Audit Office concluded that ministers and officials were not aware of two £50,000 donations made by Paul Drayson, the chief executive of PowderJect, at the time it handed his company the contract in April last year.
