Ministers moved yesterday to ban the sale of Yo-Balls, Britain's latest toy craze.

It had been feared that children could suffocate from strangulation by the elasticated, liquid filled balls.

However experts feel the first toy ban for a decade may have come too late as many of the 10 million balls in the UK have already been sold.
