University plans 'are social engineering'
The Mail attacks the "social engineering" of the government's higher education policies.
The Headmasters' and Headmistresses' Conference and the Girls' School Association yesterday launched a boycott of Bristol University over its admissions policy.
A Mail editorial warns of university "entry by postcode" and predicts a Middle Britain backlash. "This is social engineering at its crudest," the paper warns.
