NHS bosses asked to come clean on cash

Senior health service managers will be urged today to abandon secrecy and reveal the size of their salaries.

NHS chief executive Sir Nigel Crisp will respond to a National Audit Office report by calling for the heads of health trusts and authorities to disclose the extent of their pay packets in the name of "transparency".
