Swing voters sway away from euro
An FT "focus group" has found that Labour's swing voters - who switched from the Conservatives in 1997 - are still hostile to the euro ahead of a government decision on whether to recommend entry in June.
The middle England voters fear that Britain will lose its national identity inside a single currency and see no other benefits other than easier foreign travel.
