Tables turned as auditor watches the watchdogs
The National Audit Office has called into question the financial reporting of the Serious Fraud Office and the Office of National Statistics, both more used to performing the scrutiny of others.
The NAO expressed reservations over the accounts of 16 public bodies in 2001/02, up from nine the previous year.
