Cook resists Blair on Lords reform
Robin Cook and Tony Blair are unable to agree on whether to remove the voting rights of the hereditary peers who remain in the House of Lords.
The Commons leader is resisting pressure to introduce a bill implementing the move because he fears it would close off the option of more radical reform, reports the Independent.
