City keen on terror contingencies
The FT reports on a positive reaction to government plans for protecting the City in the event of a terrorist attack.
The Treasury has proposed that the chancellor take control of the stock exchange and the Bank of England if necessary, to keep Britain's economy functioning if London suffered from a chemical or New York-style attack.
