Writing in today's Sun Gordon Brown, vows to press for more action to solve Africa's Aids crisis.

The chancellor says: "A failure to act offends not only basic values, the dignity of individuals and their right to a decent life, but it condemns Africa to yet more decades of disease and poverty and threatens our strategic priorities and the fight against global terror."
