Kinnock cool on euro chances
Britain is unlikely to push for entry to the single currency this year, the former Labour leader Neil Kinnock has said.
Kinnock, now a Brussels commissioner and keen euro supporter, believes 2004 is a more realistic date for a poll because of the pressure of time.
"There isn't enough time this year, but next year is a possibility," he told the BBC.
