A poll by the British Chamber of Commerce has found a large majority of British businesses would oppose early entry into the euro.

The poll of its members found the opposition would continue even if the chancellor's five economic tests were met.

"It is not a definite 'no', but it is a definite 'not now'," said BCC president Isabella Moore.
