David Blunkett will next month bring in new laws to make it easier to strip people of British citizenship.

The home secretary is to implement part of the new Nationality, Immigration and Asylum Act, allowing him to remove citizenship from anyone whose presence he believes is "seriously prejudicial to the vital interests" of Britain.
