Tony Blair will today face his first prime minister's question time to be held at midday.

Under the new hours, MPs will sit from 11.30am to 7.30pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Conservative MP Edward Garnier warns Westminster will be poorer if MPs do not have outside interests but Labour MP Caroline Flint says "my best moments have been in my constituency".
