Tories turn to psychology
Iain Duncan Smith has hired an occupational psychologist to try to improve the quality and gender mix of Conservative parliamentary candidates.
Professor Jo Silvester of Goldsmiths College in London will try to ensure that more "sympathetic" and "representative" candidates will be selected for the next election.
