PM 'accepts cabinet splits on Lords reform'
The prime minister is to allow cabinet ministers to present differing opinions on the issue of House of Lords reform, reports today's Times.
MPs will have a full debate about Lords reform next week ahead of a vote on February 4.
Lord Irvine, John Reid, John Prescott and David Blunkett are all said to favour the option which would see no elections to the second chamber.
