Livingstone ditches legal tube challenge
The long delayed public-private partnership for the London Underground could be given the green light today after Ken Livingstone dropped plans for a legal challenge in the European Court of Justice.
The mayor's move comes after a deal was struck with the government over the handover of the tube to Greater London Authority control.
