Managers rule, minister tells TUC
New EU legislation will not be about "co-determination or joint decision making" Alan Johnson will assure bosses today.
The employment rights minister will tell a TUC audience that a Brussels information and consultation directive will not cut across the right to manage.
At the same conference Britain's new TUC chief, Brendan Barber will tell employers that the new rights are not "red tape, part of the class war or a return to adversarial trade unionism".
