Union leader slams euro delay
John Edmonds, leader of the GMB union, has warned that any delay in holding a referendum on the euro would put the case for the single currency in a permanent coma.
"The time for procrastination is now over. If the referendum is postponed for another 12 months, it will not be put on hold, it will be put in a coma from which it will never emerge", he said.
