Wanted: More Labour donors
The Labour Party has asked its members to pay at least £20 each to help pay off a £5.5 million mortgage on the party's new Westminster headquarters.
The party has set up what it calls a foundation supporters' club to finance the new building.
An annual £100 donation gains "silver membership" and an invitation to a garden party, while £500 a year leads to a "gold level" pass to regional and national receptions as well as to Labour's annual conference.
