Customs facing inquiry
The attorney general has ordered a judicial inquiry into Customs and Excise, following the collapse of a trial involving an undercover team of investigators.
A Treasury spokesman said that Lord Goldsmith, the attorney general, and John Healey, the minister responsible for customs, would now set up an independent inquiry into customs' investigation techniques.
