Treasury seeks to rebut CBI's argument over taxes

The Treasury has rejected the CBI's attack on the levels of corporate taxes.

Paul Boateng, the chief secretary to the Treasury, insisted that the CBI's accusation of a £47 billion rise in company taxes since 1997, was "wrong and misleading".
