Cut price medicine for third world
Making essential medicines more widely available in the developing world is vital to cutting mortality rates, Tony Blair will say today.
The prime minister will this morning put aside domestic difficulties to support efforts to improve access to medicines that can prevent deaths from TB and Malaria.
At a breakfast in Downing Street, Tony Blair, Clare Short, and health minister Lord Hunt will launch a report by a working group with key recommendations to help developing countries.
