Airport plans delayed by Gatwick ruling
Plans for Britain's airport expansion will now be delayed until next autumn following the High Court's ruling that Gatwick had to be included, the transport secretary has told MPs.
Tim Collins, the Tory transport spokesman, told Alistair Darling: "If the final conclusions are to be seen as fair and reasonable by all involved, then you and your department need to listen more, consult properly and start getting things right, rather than hopelessly wrong."
