David Davis and former Labour MP Tony Benn sold out a London theatre last night as they debated the current state of politics.

Last night was the first time that Benn, who has been performing to sell out crowds all year, invited a Conservative politician to join him.

Davis, who was frequently heckled, said: "Socialism only works in heaven where you don't need it and in hell where you have already got it."

The event was "a little like Frank Skinner and David Baddiel without the sofa but with added ideology" says the Independent.
