BBC reporter receives police damages
Kent police will today pay £750,000 in legal costs and damages to the BBC reporter, Donal MacIntyre, reports today's Guardian.
The BBC had sued the police for libel after they claimed in an article in the Sunday Telegraph that his programme on care homes had been misleading through selective editing.
