TV programme makers are preparing a dramatisation of Tony Blair and Gordon Brown's famous Granita dinner.

According to legend, the pair are said to have struck a deal over the Labour leadership following John Smith's death.

ITV's head of drama said the 90 minute drama, provisionally entitled "The Deal", will be a "suspense story".
